About VirtualJudge
What is VirtualJudge?
VirtualJudge is a web application designed to help Toastmasters clubs, Areas, Divisions, and Districts administer and judge speech contests. It provides digital tools for scoring, timing, and managing contest workflows.
Why VirtualJudge?
Traditional paper-based judging can be error-prone and time-consuming. Manual tallying of scores, coordinating judges, and tracking times across locations presents challenges, especially for hybrid and online contests.
VirtualJudge streamlines the entire process:
- Digital ballots eliminate paper handling and reduce errors
- Automatic scoring calculates results instantly with proper tiebreaker handling
- Time tracking flags disqualifying times automatically
- Role-based checklists guide Contest Chairs and Chief Judges through proper procedures
- Hybrid support allows remote judges to participate from anywhere
Supported Contest Types
VirtualJudge currently supports International Speech and Evaluation contests. Additional contest types may be added in future updates.
Contest Levels
The application supports contests at all Toastmasters organizational levels: Club, Area, Division, and District.
